Yes, it is true that we should not invest our money into one fund only instead invest it into multiple funds so that it will minimize our risk of loss.What would happen if you just invest into one fund where you believe that this fund will perform well, but then it proves that you are wrong? It is really sad right? For sure your investment will wiped out. Hence, diversify our investment into different type of  funds like equity fund or bond in different companies, sectors or countries. Don't put all your eggs into one basket.
